還記得小時候在南部老家菜市場內有間無名麵攤，最愛吃他的米苔目，湯的乾的都好吃，淋上肉燥、韭菜、油蔥酥和豬肉片，淡淡大骨湯頭散發出的清香，純手工的米苔目綿密柔軟，一直吃到我長大離家讀書後，麵攤老奶奶年事已高，店就收了，為了尋找米苔目的好味道，尋到米苔目發源地員林去，但吃了當地有名的米苔目都不是我記憶中那純米的柔軟，直到某天在東湖市場很不經意地吃到航情小吃店，才發現找尋這二十多年的老味道，竟在咫尺!
