General information
隨著婦女就業比例增加，托育的問題愈趨重要，找到「好」保母，是大家共同的心願。為滿足社會上的托育需求，並鼓勵婦女二度就業，彭婉如基金會開始有「社區保母支持系統」的構想。於1999年起在社區開辦社區保母培訓班，招募社區有意成為保母的婦女，訓練她們成為專業好保母，確實篩選把關，讓家長能在家附近找到安心專業的保母，免除路途奔波及對不當托嬰的焦慮，基金會也致力於將此理念推動為國家政策。2000年兒童局「社區保母系統」建立，彭婉如基金會及台灣公共托育協會目前在臺北市、新北市、臺中市、臺南市等縣市，接受社會局委託建立支持系統。2016年起「社區保母系統」更名為「居家托育服務中心」，持續為親子、保母提供支持服務。
