沿著雨農路、過雨農橋，到達芝山公園的入口。哇！好高、好長的階梯啊，這就是當地人俗稱的百二崁。數數看，真的有一百二十階？這是漳泉械鬥時期，防止泉州人侵入所建的．後因日本人來台，拆除南隘門改建而成為現在的百二崁，山下並有石馬一尊。百二崁間距頗陡，從下往上看，有種仰之彌堅，望之彌高的精神，這也跟當初日本人建造時，希望前來參拜的學童，都能以極度尊重崇拜之心，行事的期待相吻合。
