餐廳在礁溪成立於2013年6月19日，取名為「東方紅鐵板創意料理」，餐廳名字的由來是取自於宜蘭的蘭陽八景第一景龜山朝日，龜山島又名龜山嶼，屬於蘭陽八景第一景首朝東方晨曦光耀一眼醒目東方紅，日出東方一點紅，紅的意思是指太陽，龜山朝日東方紅因此而來，故取名東方紅。
蘭陽平原面山環海有著豐富的農漁產,對於食材的品質絕不妥協，主廚堅持給客人當日漁港最新鮮的漁獲，主要漁貨食材都是採用來自大溪漁港現撈最新鮮之食材。更挑選在地的農產蔬果做搭配，用最簡單的料理手法襯托出食材最原始的味道，最精湛的手藝、最在地新鮮的優質食材，不僅滿足你挑剔的味蕾，還滿足了你視覺上的感官享受，讓顧客享受到不同以往的鐵板燒餐飲服務，以及充滿當地特色的料理。
