名間松柏嶺受天宮位於八卦山台地最南端，海拔五百公尺，遠眺西部平原和台灣海峽，內地高山盡收眼底，更是觀賞夜景最好地點，民國五十二年（1963）前省主席黃杰觀景親提「高遠矚」以為讚賞，「松嶺遠眺」乃成為南投八大景之一。寺前階梯下方溪邊有神泉，名為龍眼泉，沐後精神煥發，全身舒爽。廟前廣場亦是遠眺清水溪、濁水溪的最佳位置，若朝拜後尚有閒暇可就近走一趟鄰近的登廟 @ @ r0978995205
