太平北極殿 Company Information

太平北極殿談自民國五十八年四月間(歲次己酉年一九六九年)本殿主持楊茂田。自幼出生於台南縣下營鄉大埤 村(下營庄西)，幼年至成人受 玄天上帝保佑。當兵退役後獨自來到台中工作。於民國五十八年九月 成家‧其為感恩 玄帝的照佑。於民國五十九年(歲次庚戌年西元一九七○年)十月奉祀 玄天上帝金尊 在家中鎮宅保平安。當時地址(台中市東區東門里育英路三十五巷一號)。自奉祀一週後。 玄天上帝 時常於睡夢中訓示交付許多事情。其中最主要一項是。要他來台中地區啟建一處大型道場。其主因 為自本甲子年起(民國七十三年西元一九八四年)上天所頒照之玄門大道旨令由 玄帝執掌戡茲因，責 任重大。必須在台灣台中(中央土)發揚。才有落實旨令與弘揚大道的機運。
