大都會網咖成立於民國89年，當初創立是因為三個年輕人對電腦以及軟體的熱愛，在沒有資金、技術、經驗的情況下草創。成立當時國內網咖數量卻如泡沫式的快速成長，幾乎街頭巷尾到處都可以看到網咖，各業者均面臨了經營上的瓶頸，此時大都會網咖率先導入複合式美食館結合網咖的經營方式，逐漸在業界嶄露頭角，歷經經濟不景氣與SARS的衝擊，逆勢成長，成為領導品牌之一。
大都會經營的根基就是『永遠對客人好一點』，因為經營者都是玩家出身，對線路、配備與環境舒適都很注重，基於感同身受所以不斷的創新以打造更好的服務環境與品質，另一方面也積極培訓所有員工，使其具有專業的服務，讓每一位員工都能獨立各自管理及帶動同儕。現在的大都會好像一個大家庭，也歡迎有志一同的你加入我們的行列。
