General information
臺灣自昔有「一府、二鹿、三艋舺」之說。鹿港鎮為臺灣文化重鎮，歷代人才輩出。臺灣的傳統木雕發展，早期是以鹿港、北港、臺南、臺北、臺中為主要的發祥地，鹿港地區自古以來，即是傳統木雕業的重鎮，不論寺廟建築、神 ( 佛 ) 桌的製做、神 ( 佛 ) 像雕刻、家俱及宗教法器，都是鹿港盛行的傳統工藝事業。一百多年來，鹿港廣被傳聞而又最具有特色的建築，就是那條名叫五福街的「不見天」街屋，也就是俗稱的「無天厝」──現為中山路──聯興佛具行即發源於此！
