現今的南庄戲院由南庄當地50年老店「老金龍飯店」接手經營，保留原有建築物結構加以修整，化為一間主打客家菜餚的人文餐館,以傳統客家美食，搭配精緻伴手禮、咖啡、冰品等，服務大眾,除此之外戲院更貼心地陳列台灣老文物與古董，以及北台灣碩果僅存的,畫師謝森山大師，手繪電影海報看板，提供朋友們免費觀賞。
